SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 26 (UPI) -- Durable relief pitcher Javier Lopez has re-signed with the San Francisco Giants for three years, the team announced Tuesday.
Lopez has played a key role in the Giants bullpen since being acquired from Pittsburgh in 2010, going 14-4 with a 2.26 ERA in 236 relief appearances.

The 36-year-old left-hander had one of his best seasons in 2013, compiling a 4-2 record with a career-best 1.83 ERA in 69 games.
Lopez has also pitched for Colorado, Arizona and Boston in an 11-year career, posting a 27-13 record with a 3.64 ERA and 13 saves in 629 games.
