NHL: Nashville 4, Phoenix 2

NASHVILLE, Nov. 25 (UPI) -- Nick Spaling got Nashville off to a quick start with a goal just 62 seconds into the game Monday and the Predators went on to best Phoenix 4-2.

Shea Weber, Gabriel Bourque and Mike Fisher also scored for Nashville, which notched a fourth win in five games.

Marek Mazanec earned the victory with 29 saves.

The Coyotes, meanwhile, dropped a third straight despite goals from Tim Kennedy and Antoine Vermette.

Mike Smith stopped 28-of-31 shots for Phoenix.
