NHL: San Jose 5, Tampa Bay 1

SAN JOSE, Calif., Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Tommy Wingels scored twice to back Antti Niemi's 35 saves Thursday in the San Jose Sharks' 5-1 spanking of Tampa Bay.

Patrick Marleau, Brad Stuart and Brent Burns also scored as the Sharks improved to 4-1-0 in their last five games.

Logan Couture distributed three assists for San Jose, which downed the Lightning at home for the fifth straight time.

Tyler Johnson scored and Anders Lindback made 31 saves for the Bolts, who dropped a third straight on the road.
