MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Kevin Love needed just 28 minutes to compile 17 points and 16 rebounds Friday, leading Minnesota to a 111-81 demolition of Brooklyn.

The struggling and shorthanded Nets lost their fourth in a row and their seventh in eight games.

Minnesota opened a 16-point lead after just one quarter and coasted behind another 17 points from Kevin Martin and 15 each from Corey Brewer and Nikola Pekovic. The Timberwolves had lost two straight.

Andray Blatche had 16 points in a reserve role to lead the Nets. They played without the injured Deron Williams and Brook Lopez.
