NBA: Dallas 97, Philadelphia 94

DALLAS, Nov. 19 (UPI) -- Monta Ellis heated up in the second half Monday, scoring 19 of his 24 down the stretch to help the Dallas Mavericks overcome Philadelphia 97-94.

Dallas trailed throughout the first half but used Ellis' shooting to overtake the 76ers in the third quarter.

Ellis also distributed 10 assists while Dirk Nowitzki and Shawn Marion each added 20 points as the Mavs remained unbeaten at home and logged an eighth straight win over Philadelphia.

Jose Calderon helped out with 14 points and Samuel Dalembert came off the bench to grab 14 rebounds.

The Sixers lost a third straight overall despite 26 points, nine rebounds and seven assists from Evan Turner.

Tony Wroten, subbing for the injured Michael Carter-Williams, netted 19 points and made five steals.
