NFL investigator Ted Wells to meet with Dolphins this week

NEW YORK, Nov. 18 (UPI) -- NFL investigator Ted Wells said Monday he will interview members of the Miami Dolphins this week as part of the league's Jonathan Martin probe.

Wells, hired by the NFL to look into Martin's allegations of bullying by teammate Richie Incognito, said in a statement he will be in Miami this week as part of his investigation.

"We look forward to meeting with Dolphins players, coaches and staff in order to get the facts and prepare a thorough and fair report," Wells said.

"The Dolphins organization has been very helpful in arranging the interviews and urging their personnel to cooperate with the investigation. We have asked all Dolphins personnel to respect the process and avoid commenting on the investigation."

Martin left the team Oct. 28 and Incognito was suspended indefinitely six days later. Incognito has since filed a grievance.

Wells met with Martin last week in New York.

The Dolphins are coming off a 20-16 win over San Diego Sunday. They have gone 2-1 since the allegations surfaced, improving to 5-5 on the season.
