NHL: Minnesota 2, Winnipeg 1

ST. PAUL, Minn., Nov. 17 (UPI) -- Mikko Koivu scored both Minnesota goals Sunday -- the second putting the Wild up late in the third period -- in a 2-1 win over Winnipeg.

The score was tied 1-1 with 3:12 remaining the third period when Charlie Coyle got control of the puck along the left boards and worked toward net. He backhanded a pass to Koivu, who one-timed it past Ondrej Pavelec for the game-winner.
