NBA: Los Angeles Lakers 116, New Orleans 95

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 13 (UPI) -- Jordan Hill scored a double-double of 21 points and 11 rebounds in the Los Angeles Lakers' 116-95 victory over the visiting New Orleans Pelicans Tuesday.

Nick Young came off the bench to add 17 to the Lakers' total and Pao Gasol scored 14.

The Lakers, who bounced back from a loss to Minnesota on Sunday, shot 56 percent from the field and outrebounded the Pelicans 53-31. Los Angles led by as much as 28 points and took control of the game with a 12-2 run early in the second quarter.

New Orleans had 17 points from Eric Gordon and 15 from Anthony Davis. New Orleans is 0-2 on their current three-game road trip.

The Pelicans shot 40.5 percent from the field and a futile 3-for-10 from 3-point range.
