OTTAWA, Nov. 12 (UPI) -- Steve Mason posted his first shutout of the season Tuesday, making 24 saves to boost the Philadelphia Flyers over Ottawa 5-0.
Mason's whitewash -- the 20th of his career -- was only the second for the Flyers ever in Ottawa. The other was notched by John Vanbiesbrouck in 1999.

Jakub Voracek netted a pair of goal for Philadelphia, which corralled a second straight win.
Vincent Lecavalier, Brayden Schenn and Matt Read also scored.
Craig Anderson made 26 stops in his return from a neck injury for the Senators, whose three-game winning streak was ended.
