DETROIT, Nov. 9 (UPI) -- Teddy Purcell scored with 69 seconds remaining in overtime Saturday, propelling the Tampa Bay Lightning over Detroit 3-2.

Purcell sent a wrist shot past Jimmy Howard for the game-winner after Richard Panik forced a turnover behind the net and put a pass into the crease.

Steven Stamkos and Ryan Malone also scored for the streaking Bolts, who won for the seventh time in eight contests.

Ben Bishop turned aside 25 shots.

Henrik Zetterberg got both Detroit goals but it wasn't enough as the Red Wings dropped a third straight.
