RALEIGH, N.C., Nov. 9 (UPI) -- Jason Pominville scored in regulation and was one of three Minnesota players to score during a shootout that sent the Wild over Carolina 3-2 Saturday.

Pominville's regulation-time goal was the 200th of his career.

Zach Parise and Mikko Koivu each scored on Justin Peters in the shootout before the Hurricanes' Chris Terry kept the game alive with a second-round goal against Josh Harding.

But Pominville then faked Peters before putting a shot between his pads to win it for the Wild, who recorded their fourth victory in five games.

Justin Fontaine scored for Minnesota in regulation and Harding finished with 27 saves.

Jiri Tlusty and Ryan Murphy each scored in regulation for Carolina, which came into the contest with a two-game winning streak.

Peters made 28 stops.
