NHL: Minnesota 5, Calgary 1

ST. PAUL, Minn., Nov. 5 (UPI) -- Zach Praise scored a pair of goals and chipped in an assist Tuesday in the Minnesota Wild's 5-1 win over the visiting Calgary Flames.

Praise, who now has eight goals this season, broke a 1-1 tie with a power-play goal in the second period and closed out the scoring again in the Wild's three-goal third period.

Mikko Koivu tallied a goal and two assists in the Wild's third consecutive win. Josh Harding was solid in goal, blocking all but one of the 25 shots on goal flung by the Flames.

Calgary got their lone goal from Jiri Hudler, who connected on a wrist shot that gave the Flames a 1-0 advantage at 5:24 of the first period.

Reto Berra blocked 19-of-24 shots in his second career NHL start.
