BOSTON, Nov. 5 (UPI) --
Former Bruins Tyler Seguin and Rich Peverley
each scored during a shootout Tuesday, sending the Dallas Stars over Boston 3-2.
The Stars were trailing 2-1 with 2:34 left in regulation when Boston's Dennis Seidenberg hooked Vernon Fiddler from behind on a breakaway, drawing a penalty shot.
Fiddler then knotted the score with a backhander past Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask.
After a scoreless overtime, the contest went to a shootout. After Boston's Patrice Bergeron scored in the first round, Seguin tied it in the second with a forehand shot.
Following a miss by the Bruins' David Krejci, Peverley secured the win with a shot that went between Rask's legs.
Jamie Benn scored in regulation and Kari Lehtonen stopped 34 shots and two more in the tiebreaker as the Stars notched a second straight shootout win on the road.
Torey Krug and Milan Lucic each scored and Rask finished with 34 saves for Boston, which fell for the fourth time in five games.
