Nov. 2, 2013 at 10:04 PM

NEWARK, N.J., Nov. 2 (UPI) -- Ray Emery picked up his 15th career shutout Saturday, needing to make just 14 saves in the Philadelphia Flyers' 1-0 decision over New Jersey.

Emery, making his third start of the season, helped the Flyers shake off the worst loss in team history in Friday's 7-0 pummeling at the hands of Washington.

Emery was involved in a brawl in that contest, amassing 29 penalty minutes for fighting Capitals goaltender Braden Holtby.

Brayden Schenn got the only goal of the game as Philadelphia improved to 4-9-0 on the season.

Martin Brodeur stopped 20-of-21 shots for the Devils.
