The Trail Blazers built a 20-point lead heading into the fourth quarter, a cushion built primarily on their 3-point shooting. They went 14-of-22 from beyond the arc with Batum going 5-of-8. Wesley Matthews made all four of his tries from 3-point range and Damian Lillard went 3-of-4.
LaMarcus scored 25 points and grabbed nine rebounds for Portland. Batum and Matthews both had 21.
Denver was paced by Nate Robinson's 24 points.
