NBA: New Orleans 105, Charlotte 84

NEW ORLEANS, Nov. 2 (UPI) -- Anthony Davis' 25 points, eight rebounds and six blocks Saturday elevated the New Orleans Pelicans over Charlotte 105-84.

Davis went 9-of-13 from the field, and also recorded six steals and four assists as the Pelicans posted their first victory of the season.

Tyreke Evans came off the bench to contribute 15 points and seven assists.

Jrue Holiday helped out with 14 points and eight assists for New Orleans.

Ramon Sessions scored 22 points in a reserve role for the Bobcats.
