NBA: Dallas 111, Memphis 99

DALLAS, Nov. 2 (UPI) -- Dirk Nowitzki pumped in 24 points Saturday and the Dallas Mavericks won for a second time in three games to start the season, 111-99 over Memphis.

Shawn Marion provided 21 points and 14 rebounds for the Mavs, who were coming off a 113-105 loss to Houston Friday.


Monta Ellis scored 18 points, Jose Calderon added 15, and Samuel Dalembert helped out with 14 and nine rebounds for the winners.

Mike Conley put in 24 points and dished out eight assists for the Grizzlies, who fell to 1-2 under new Coach David Joerger.

Marc Gasol supplied 23 points, and Zach Randolph chipped in 21 points and 14 rebounds for Memphis.
