NBA: Minnesota 120, Orlando 115 (OT)

MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 31 (UPI) -- Kevin Love returned to action with a clutch 3-pointer at the end of regulation Wednesday and Minnesota went on to defeat Orlando in overtime 120-115.

Love broke both hands and suffered a knee injury last season, injuries that limited him to 18 games and wiped out the Timberwolves' hopes.

Arron Afflalo had 28 points for Orlando while Nikola Vucevic scored 22 points to go with 16 rebounds.

Minnesota took the lead with a 38-point first period and spent the rest of the game fighting off an Orlando comeback.
