PITTSBURGH, Oct. 30 (UPI) -- Jussi Jokinen gave Pittsburgh a two-goal lead with 2:02 to play Wednesday and the Penguins held on to edge Boston 3-2.

Pittsburgh won its second straight and improved its record at home this season to 6-2.

Boston's Patrice Bergeron scored just 65 seconds into the third period to tie it at 1-1, but Brandon Sutter put the Penguins in front for good midway through the final stanza.

Jokinen's crucial goal came unassisted and turned out to be the game-winner when Jarome Ignlina inched the Bruins within one with 1:43 to play.

Marc-Andre Fleury made 21 saves to get the victory. The three Pittsburgh goals came against Tuukka Rask on 31 shots.

The game brought together the participants in last year's Eastern Conference finals, a series won by Boston in a four-game sweep.
