ST. LOUIS, Oct. 27 (UPI) -- Allen Craig scored the winning run on an interference call Saturday, giving St. Louis a bizarre 5-4 win over Boston and a 2-1 lead in the 2013 World Series.
The score was tied 4-4 in the bottom of the ninth when Yadier Molina blooped a one-out single against Brandon Workman (0-1) and pinch-hitter Craig followed with a double against Kenji Uehara, sending Molina to third.
