Four others catch Kenny Perry atop AT&T Championship leaderboard

SAN ANTONIO, Oct. 26 (UPI) -- Overnight leader Kenny Perry struggled to a 1-under 71 Saturday, falling into a five-way tie for first place after two rounds of the AT&T Championship.

Perry, a two-time major championship winner this year and three times a runner-up, entered the day with a one-shot lead over Tom Pernice Jr.

He ended Saturday at 8-under-par 136, along with Bernhard Langer (69), Colin Montgomerie (68), Anders Forsbrand (69) and Mike Goodes (63) at TPC San Antonio.

Kirk Triplett (67) and Scott Dunlap (68), who is making his first Champions Tour appearance, were tied for sixth at 7-under.

One shot further back were 2006 winner Fred Funk (69), Mark O'Meara (68), Russ Cochran (70) and Bobby Clampett (68).

Pernice (73) tumbled into a tie for 12th place at 5-under.
