David Ferrer beats Almagro again in Valencia semifinals

VALENCIA, Spain, Oct. 26 (UPI) -- Spain's David Ferrer topped countryman Nicolas Almagro in two sets Saturday to claim a berth in the finals of the Valencia Open.

Ferrer, the defending Valencia champion, beat Almagro 6-3, 6-3, and will take on Mikhail Youzhny of Russia in Sunday's final.

Youzhny ousted fellow Russian Dmitry Tursunov 6-2, 6-4.

Ferrer, who improved to 14-0 against Almagro, will play in his eighth final of the year.
