NASHVILLE, Oct. 20 (UPI) -- Frank Gore rushed for two touchdowns and quarterback Colin Kaepernick ran for one Sunday in the San Francisco 49ers' 31-17 win over Tennessee.
Gore finished with 70 yards on 24 carries while Kaepernick threw for 199 yards on 13-of-21 efficiency and added 64 more on the ground as the 49ers (5-2) reeled off a fourth straight victory.
Anquan Boldin led San Francisco's receiving corps with five catches for 74 yards.
The Titans (3-4) dropped a third consecutive game despite a good performance from Jake Locker, who returned from a hip injury to complete 25-of-41 passes for 326 yards, two touchdowns and an interception.
Running back Chris Johnson grabbed one of Locker's scoring strikes, ending with four receptions and nine carries for 110 total yards.
