DUI charges dropped against T. Wilson-Mourning, Alonzo Mourning's wife

MIAMI, Oct. 15 (UPI) -- Miami prosecutors said they dropped a drunk driving charge Tuesday against Tracey Wilson-Mourning, wife of retired basketball star Alonzo Mourning.

Wilson-Mourning, chief executive officer of cosmetics company Honey Child Enterprises, was arrested on traffic infractions in February. Her arrest report said she was speeding, made an improper turn, ran a flashing red light and failed a roadside sobriety test.

Miami-Dade County prosecutors reduced the charges to a traffic citation for careless driving.

Wilson-Mourning must attend classes on the dangers of drunken driving and complete 50 hours of community service, The Miami Herald reported.
