NFL: Pittsburgh 19, New York Jets 6

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Oct. 13 (UPI) -- Shaun Suisham booted four field goals Sunday and the Pittsburgh Steelers ended their worst start to season since 1968 with a 19-6 win over the New York Jets.

Ben Roethlisberger went 23-of-30 through the air for 264 yards and hurled a long scoring pass to Emmanuel Sanders as the Steelers (1-4) finally posted a victory after starting the season with four straight losses.

Antonio Brown hauled down nine passes for 86 yards while the Steelers' defense recorded a pair of late interceptions, each of which ended a Jets scoring threat.

New York (3-3) stumbled as Geno Smith was picked off twice in the red zone. He completed 19-of-34 passes for 201 yards in the loss.
