DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Sept. 30 (UPI) -- Feng Shanshan moves to No. 9 in the women's world golf rankings as the LPGA begins a series of tournament in Asia.

Feng improves her ranking by one spot, pushing Catriona Matthew to 10th in this week's update of the women's golf rankings.

That was the only change in the Top 10 going into Asian tournaments the next five weeks. The inaugural Reignwood LPGA Classic starts the series in Beijing. There are also events scheduled for Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan and Japan.

Inbee Park, the No. 1-ranked women's golfer, started her charge to the top of the rankings at last year's Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia tournament. She's won six times, including three major tournaments, since then.

The women's world golf Top 10, listing player's name, home country and rankings points average:

1. Inbee Park, South Korea, 12.22

2. Suzann Pettersen, Norway, 10.50

3. Stacy Lewis, United States, 9.59

4. Lydia Ko, New Zealand, 7.30

5. Ryu So-yeon, South Korea, 7.28

6. Choi Na-yeon, South Korea, 7.17

7. Karrie Webb, Australia, 5.94

8. I.K. Kim, South Korea, 5.49

9. Feng Shanshan, China, 5.48

10. Catriona Matthew, Scotland, 5.43
