MLB: Oakland 11, Minnesota 7

OAKLAND, Calif., Sept. 22 (UPI) -- Coco Crisp lofted a three-run homer Sunday and Oakland outlasted Minnesota 11-7 to sweep a four-game series after earlier winning a division crown.

Jed Lowrie and Daric Barton each contributed a solo shot. while Eric Sogard added two hits, two runs scored and drove in two for the Athletics, who won their second straight American League West title earlier Sunday when second-place Texas lost to Kansas City.

Sonny Gray (4-3) collected the win, yielding four runs on seven hits over five innings. He walked two and struck out three.

Twins starter Cole De Vries (0-1) was scorched for six runs on four hits and three walks in a two-inning stint.

Oswaldo Arcia went 3-for-4 with a three-run homer and six RBI for Minnesota.
