Tsonga and Simon reach Moselle Open finals

METZ, France, Sept. 21 (UPI) -- Top-seeded Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and second-seeded Gilles Simon won their semifinal matches Saturday to set up an all-French final at the Moselle Open in Metz.

Tsonga beat Florian Mayer of Germany in three sets, advancing to Sunday's final against Simon, who ousted countryman Nicolas Mahut in two sets.

Tsonga, the two-time defending tournament champion, rallied past Mayer 4-6, 6-2, 6-3.

Simon, who has yet to lose a set in the tournament, beat Mahut 6-3, 7-6 (7-2) to reach the final round for the second time this year.
