Speeding citation adds to Von Miller's list of problems

DENVER, Sept. 11 (UPI) -- Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller, in addition to missing the team's season opener, added a speeding ticket to his growing list of problems last week.

Miller was cited for speeding and driving with a suspended license last week by the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Department, the Denver Post reported Wednesday.

In violation of the NFL's drug policy, Miller was suspended for the first six games of the season. In August he was arrested on a warrant for failing to appear in court to answer traffic violations that included careless driving, driving without a license and no proof of insurance. An attempt to purchase a handgun flagged the warrant, the newspaper said.
