SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 11 (UPI) -- Marco Scutaro
and Brandon Belt each provided a run-scoring single in the eighth inning Wednesday, rallying the San Francisco Giants over Colorado 4-3.
The Giants were trailing 3-2 entering the eighth but Brandon Crawford (2-for-4) and pinch-hitter Angel Pagan led off with singles against Matt Belisle (5-7).
After Ehire Adrianza laid down a sacrifice to move the runners up, pinch-hitter Buster Posey was intentionally walked to load the bases.
That brought up Scutaro (2-for-4), who lined a single to right, chasing home Crawford with the score-tying run and sending Pagan to third.
Belt then followed with the key blow, slapping an RBI hit the opposite way to left field.
Hunter Pence and Pablo Sandoval also each drove in a run as the Giants took the rubber match of a three-game series.
Guillermo Moscoso (2-2) tossed two shutout innings to notch the decision and Santiago Casilla secured the victory with his second save.
Nelson Arenado supplied two RBI for the Rockies.
