Rocco Mediate notches another 64 to complete Shaw Charity win

CALGARY, Alberta, Sept. 1 (UPI) -- Rocco Mediate, who fired a 7-under-par 64 in the second round, matched that total Sunday, rolling to a seven-stroke victory at the Shaw Charity Classic.

Mediate was rarely challenged in breezing to his second Champions Tour win of the season, finishing at 22-under-par 191.

His previous win came at the Allianz Championship to kick off the 2013 season.

Tom Byrum also carded a 64, claiming sole possession of second place at minus-15.

Sharing third one shot further back at Canyon Meadows Golf & Country Club were Duffy Waldorf (65) and Kirk Triplett (67).

Scott Hoch (65), Jeff Freeman (65), David Frost (69), Tom Pernice Jr. (69), Michael Allen (69) and Bobby Clampett (71) knotted for fifth at minus-13.
