MILWAUKEE, Aug. 31 (UPI) -- Grant Green's three-run double and Jered Weaver's three-hit performance Friday carried the Los Angeles Angels to a 5-0 win over Milwaukee.

Weaver (9-7) went six innings, after which Michael Kohn and Cory Rasmus completed the shutout.

Kole Calhoun hit a solo homer in the fourth and that was the game's lone run through six innings.

The Angels then broke things open with a four-run seventh in which Green produced a bases-loaded double. Green then scored on a single by J.B. Shuck.

Wily Peralta (8-14) was tagged with the loss after giving up three runs on four hits in six-plus innings.
