DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Aug. 26 (UPI) -- Amateur Lydia Ko's defense of her CN Canadian Women's Open title put the 16-year-old in the Top 10 of the women's golf rankings.

Ko shot 6-under-par 64 Sunday and repeated as the tournament winner by a comfortable five strokes. She is now seventh in the rankings, moving up 12 places.

Ko has retained her amateur status -- she won the 2012 U.S. Women's Amateur -- while appearing in 14 LPGA tournaments, She made the cut each time. She's won four tournaments.

There were no changes in the first six of the rankings -- Inbee Park, Stacy Lewis, Suzanne Pettersen, Choy Na-yeon, Ryu So-yeon and Karrie Webb, in that order -- and I.K. Kim, whose tie for fifth in the Canadian event was the highest finish for a Top 10 player, remains eighth.

Feng Shanshan slips two places to ninth and Catriona Matthew is down one to No. 10. Paula Creamer keeps the 11th place and Jiyai Shin falls from 10th to No. 12.
