NFL: New York Jets 24, New York Giants 21 (OT)

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Aug. 24 (UPI) -- Billy Cundiff kicked a 32-yard field goal with 8:04 left in overtime Saturday to give the New York Jets a 24-21 pre-season win over the New York Giants.

Jets rookie Geno Smith was 16-of-30 passing for 199 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions.

Mark Sanchez came in early in the fourth quarter and went 5-of-6 passing for 72 yards -- but left the game with what may have been an injured left shoulder.

Matt Simms went 6-for-10 for 120 yards and a touchdown for the Jets, who got three passes for 110 yards and a touchdown from Ryan Spadola.

Ben Obomanu caught three passes for 56 yards and a touchdown and Bilal Powell scored a touchdown on the ground.

Eli Manning was 8-of-20 passing for 83 yards, and Curtis Painter was 13-of-29 for 140 yards for the Giants. David Wilson picked up 92 yards on five carries, including an 84-yard touchdown run.
