CARSON, Calif., Aug. 25 (UPI) -- Erick Torres scored a pair of goals Sunday and Chivas beat New York 3-2 to break a four-game winless streak.

The Chivas forward doubled the advantage in the 81st minute when he scored on a rebound, and the Goats (5-14-6) needed the insurance goal after New York's Dax McCarty scored 5 minutes later.
