John Riegger grabs three-shot lead at Boeing Classic

SNOQUALMIE, Wash., Aug. 24 (UPI) -- John Riegger was on track for his first Champions Tour victory Saturday, using an 8-under 64 to take a three-shot lead after 36 holes of the Boeing Classic.

Riegger finished the day at 11-under-par 133, three better than Bernhard Langer (68), Tom Lehman (67), Kirk Triplett (68) and Bobby Clampett (69) at 8-under.

John Cook (68) held sole possession of sixth place at 7-under 137.

Tom Pernice Jr. (68), John Huston (68) and Duffy Waldorf (71) were one shot further back in seventh.

Defending champion Jay Don Blake was in 10th place at 139 after shooting a 5-under 67.
