Ginn's score started a 24-point explosion that included a 71-yard interception return by Drayton Florence and a 2-yard fumble return for a score by Thomas Davis. The touchdowns by Florence and Davis came in a span of 42 seconds in the second period.
Carolina quarterback Cam Newton completed 10-of-19 passes for 99 yards without a touchdown or an interception.
The Panthers totaled four touchdowns on either defense or special teams, the last of them coming on D.J. Moore's 33-yard interception return that gave Carolina a 34-17 lead in the third period.
Baltimore's Joe Flacco went 18-of-24 for 169 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions, one of which was returned for a score.
