Oliver Fisher, Rich Fisher, Mark Forster, Ignacio Garrido, Brett Rumford and Thongchai Jaidee are tied at 5-under 66 and five more players are at 4-under. A total of 80 players broke par Thursday.

Wiesberger starting at the 11th hole of the Gleneagles Hotel course, opened with a birdie. He added others at the 14th and 17th holes. A birdie at the third hole got him to 4-under and he closed with three consecutive birdies.

Gonzalez, also starting on 11, had a bogey at his first hole of the tournament but he had five birdies over the next seven holes. After a bogey at the par-4 first, he dropped in a 10-foot putt for eagle at the 516-yard, par-5 second hole. He also had birdies at Nos. 5 and 8.
