MLB: Texas 15, Seattle 3

ARLINGTON, Texas, Aug. 18 (UPI) -- Craig Gentry led a potent Texas attack with three RBI Saturday and the Rangers rolled over Seattle 15-3.

Jurickson Profar and David Murphy each provided two runs batted in while Leonys Martin added an RBI during a five-run second inning as well as an eight-run eighth for Texas.

Ian Kinsler and Adrian Beltre supplied an RBI each as the American League West-leading Rangers racked up 14 hits en route to their ninth win in 11 games.

Martin Perez (6-3) yielded three runs on eight hits over seven innings to collect the victory, walking one and striking out five.

Mariners starter Felix Hernandez (12-6) was lit up for five runs on five hits in a five-inning effort.

Kyle Seager went 2-for-4 with a solo homer and two RBI and Dustin Ackley added three hits for Seattle.
