ENDICOTT, N.Y., Aug. 18 (UPI) -- Bart Bryant, who came into the final round with a four-shot lead, managed an even-par 72 Sunday, holding off the field to win the Dick's Sporting Goods Open.

Bryant finished 16-under-par 200 at En-Joie Golf Course, one stroke better than a pair of competitors in snaring his first career Champions Tour triumph.

His big edge proved just enough to outpace Russ Cochran (67) and Corey Pavin (69), each of whom settled for a share of second place at minus-15.

Gene Sauers (67) and Duffy Waldorf (69) knotted for fourth one shot further back.

Sole possession of sixth place went to Chien Soon Lu (65) at 13-under.
