Huh, the reigning PGA Rookie of the Year, caught up with fellow 23-year-old Reed at 10-under-par 200 by birdying three of the last four holes at Sedgefield Country Club, ending with a round of even-par 70 after overcoming a triple-bogey and a lengthy rain delay.
Second-round leader Reed stumbled to a bogey on the 18th, carding a 1-over 71 to fall into a 54-hole deadlock with Huh at minus-10.
Sharing sixth at 8-under 202 were Robert Garrigus (68), Matt Every (68) and Brian Harman (69).
