TAMPA, Fla., Aug. 8 (UPI) -- LaQuan Williams recovered a blocked punt for a score and also caught a touchdown pass Thursday in helping send Baltimore to a 44-16 win over Tampa Bay.

The Ravens played their first exhibition game of the campaign 6 months and 5 days after winning the Super Bowl over San Francisco.

Williams, who had only four receptions during his rookie season in 2012, finished off a 24-point second quarter by falling on a blocked punt in the end zone with 9 seconds remaining in the half. He then caught a 21-yard scoring pass from Tyrod Taylor on the opening possession of the third period.

Bernard Pierce and Anthony Allen also had touchdown runs in the second period for the Ravens and Justin Tucker kicked three field goals, one of them from 57 yards.

Taylor completed 13-of-23 passes for 154 yards and two scores after Super Bowl winning quarterback Joe Flacco went 7-of-9 for 57 yards and an interception.
