KITZBUHEL, Austria, Aug. 3 (UPI) -- Marcel Granollers picked up his first ATP title in nearly two years with a three-set victory Saturday over Juan Monaco, winning the bet-at-home Cup in Austria.

Granollers rallied from a stunning start by Monaco for a 0-6, 7-6 (7-3), 6-4 win in just more than 2 hours. He improved to 4-2 in tournament title matches, adding the Kitzbuhel, Austria, championship to wins at the U.S. Clay Court Championships in 2008, the Swiss Open in 2011 and the Valencia Open in November 2011.

Granollers defeated Monaco in the final for his title in Valencia. That also was a three-set affair in which Monaco started strong.

Monaco dropped just nine points in racing through the first set and taking the early lead Saturday . Granollers steadied his game in the second set in which both players took 41 points. He had his first break of the day to force the tiebreaker and even the match.

He posted two more breaks in building a 4-1 lead in the third set, missing out on ending the match with another break before serving out for the title.

Monaco is 8-10 in ATP finals. He was trying to add the bet-at-home Cup to his Power Horse Cup won in Germany in May.

Granollers' first-place check was for nearly $98,000 and boosted his career earnings to more than $4.8 million. Monaco took home $51,600 as the runner-up, putting his career total at more than $6.3 million.
