July 31, 2013 at 7:32 PM

OAKLAND, Calif., July 31 (UPI) -- Jose Bautista triggered a three-run uprising in the 10th inning with a go-ahead RBI single Wednesday and the Toronto Blue Jays flew past Oakland 5-2.

The score was tied 2-2 when Jose Reyes led off the 10th against Jesse Chavez (2-3) with a single and went to second on passed ball. Bautista sliced a liner down the first base line with one out for a run-scoring double, putting the Blue Jays ahead to stay.

The A's then drew a pair of walks and Colby Rasmus (3-for-5) padded Toronto's lead with a two-run single off Jerry Blevins, wrapping up a victory in the rubber match of a three-game series.

Casey Janssen (4-0) notched the victory with a scoreless ninth and Brett Cecil recorded his first career save with a 1-2-3 10th for Toronto.

Jed Lowrie and Josh Donaldson each had two hits for American League West-leading Oakland.
