OAKLAND, Calif., July 31 (UPI) -- The Toronto Blue Jays cooled off the Oakland Athletics Tuesday 5-0 behind seven shutout innings by Mark Buehrle.

Buehrle (7-7) allowed five hits and struck out two before the bullpen closed the game out and ended Oakland's four-game winning streak.

Jose Bautista and Emilio Bonifacio both hit home runs for the Blue Jays, who have won four of their last six games.

Bonifacio led off a three-run fifth inning for Toronto. Jose Reyes scored on a throwing error and Colby Rasmus singled in another run.

Dan Straily (6-5) took the loss for Oakland. He allowed five runs – two earned – on six hits and two walks.
