DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., July 29 (UPI) -- Elina Svitolina jumps 32 spots in the world rankings, which were updated Monday, after collecting her first WTA title.

Svitolina defeated Shahar Peer in straight sets Sunday in the final of the Baku Cup. It was her first appearance in a title match and came after she'd advanced to the semifinals the previous week.

The 8-1 record over the last two tournaments boosts Svitolina from 83rd to No. 49 in the rankings. The bulk of that change -- she was 71st a week ago -- came in the wake of the Baku Cup win.

Dominika Cibulkova collected her third WTA championship Sunday with a win at the Bank of the West Classic in Stanford, Calif., beating No. 4-ranked Agnieszka Radwanska in the final. It was Cibulkova's first championship since she won at Carlsbad, Calif., a year ago. That tournament is this week and Cibulkova is again in the field. She improved her ranking to 21st with the Stanford title.

There are three Top 10 players challenging for Cibulkova's title at the Southern California Open. No. 3-ranked Victoria is seeded No. 1 and Radwanska and seventh-ranked Petra Kvitova are also in the field. Ninth-ranked Angelique Kerber leads the draw for the Citi Open in Washington.
