MLB: Los Angeles Dodgers 4, Cincinnati 1

LOS ANGELES, July 28 (UPI) -- Hyun-Jin Ryu dominated Cincinnati Saturday, limiting the Reds to two hits over seven innings in the division-leading Los Angeles Dodgers' 4-1 victory.

Ryu (9-3) surrendered a solo homer to Jay Bruce in the second inning and a triple to Chris Heisey in the third, but then retired the next 13 batters en route to his third win in four starts.

The South Korean left-hander walked one and struck out nine as the Dodgers improved to 14-3 in their last 17 contests and extended their National League West lead over Arizona to 1 1/2 games.

Skip Schumaker went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in the fifth, breaking a 1-1 tie, while Adrian Gonzalez and Hanley Ramirez each drove in a run for Los Angeles.

Bronson Arroyo (9-8) was tagged with the loss, surrendering three runs on eight hits over 5 1/3 innings as Cincinnati fell for the second time in three games at Dodger Stadium.
