July 21, 2013 at 12:41 AM

ARLINGTON, Texas, July 21 (UPI) -- Adam Jones and Brian Roberts each supplied two RBI Saturday, powering the Baltimore Orioles over Texas 7-4.

Jones gave the O's a 1-0 lead in the first inning with an RBI single, then added a solo homer in the third that sparked a four-run uprising that iced the contest.

Roberts capped the big inning with a two-run single while Matt Weiters went 3-for-4 with a run scored as Baltimore banged out 17 hits on its way to the series-clinching victory.

Chris Davis, Manny Machado and Henry Urrutia each provided an RBI for the Orioles.

Miguel Gonzalez (8-3) surrendered eight hits but only one run in a 6 2/3-inning effort, earning the decision. He didn't issue a walk and struck out three.

Rangers starter Randy Wolf (1-3) was roughed up for seven runs on nine hits, lasting just two innings.

David Murphy went 3-for-4 with two RBI for second-place Texas, which dropped a third straight overall but remained two games behind American League West-leading Oakland.
