July 14, 2013 at 1:52 PM

BUDAPEST, Hungary, July 14 (UPI) -- Simona Halep remained on a roll Sunday, downing Yvonne Meusburger in the final of the Hungarian Grand Prix for her third title within two months.

The Romanian dropped a second-set tiebreaker but quickly rebounded for a dominating third set in defeating Austria's Yvonne Meusburger 6-3, 6-7 (7-9), 6-1.

The Budapest victory was her third career crown, and came quickly on the heels of triumphs last month at Nuremberg and 's-Hertogenbosch. Halep has dropped one of 17 matches during the span.

Meusburger, meanwhile, fell in just her second career WTA final. Her only other appearance was a loss at Bad Gastein in 2007.
