MLB: Colorado 3, Los Angeles Dodgers 1

LOS ANGELES, July 14 (UPI) -- Jhoulys Chacin fired six efficient innings and Michael Cuddyer drove in all three Colorado runs Sunday in the Rockies' 3-1 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Chacin (9-4) held Los Angeles to the one run on six hits and three walks while striking out six.

Rex Brothers and Matt Belisle each provided one perfect inning of relief and Rafael Betancourt turned in a 1-2-3 ninth for his 15th save as Colorado earned a four-game series split.

Cuddyer delivered an RBI single in the first inning and belted a two-run homer in the fifth, providing all of the Rockies' offense.

Ricky Nolasco (6-9) lasted five innings for Los Angeles, allowing three runs on eight hits.

The second-place Dodgers went into the All-Star Game break trailing National League West-leading Arizona by 2 1/2 games.
